Winter Love

Winter Love Poem

Copyright Gabor Timis, 2016

Snowflakes cover all the trees in white,
as twigs snap with echoing crackling sound.
I watch the snow fall and my heart is light
as I sense my emotions rise steady and proud.

Each snowflake like a kiss from my lips
searching for you to cover in a shower of bliss.
I hear the angels play the sweetest symphony,
to have true love is life’s greatest victory.

In my heart, instead of of the cold snow
many blossoms of beautiful flowers grow.
My spirits soar high and merrily glow
as I see you in my vision that nothing can overshadow.

Listen, my dear, to the soft serenade from my heart
that carries my promise to you, my tender embrace
of infinite love, a pledge of never to be apart.
This is my winter love of you, that nothing can erase.
